Our office wanted to expand up North to Ipoh with the prospect of more work opportunities and we decided to open up an office. It was an old corner shop lot of the colonial era, with a hairdresser as its tenant when we took over. We ripped out everything and found that the space underneath the renovations were in good condition and deserved to be preserved, so we went on to do a restoration project of the premises as the context of our office space. The furniture and panels were sourced from a nearby second-hand store, hence the many old doors being used as wall panels.
