The original Melur & Thyme restaurant was opened in KLCC and was a success. With tThe client wanted a “Western” ID solution being a project in Nanning, China so we gave them an almost Scandinavian-look interior for their show unit concept. The clients were happy and, being China, you receive the units absolutely bare (no floor, wall or ceiling finishes including painting, and no toilets or door frames) and our design was adapted by a few purchasers for their fit-out idea.hat success the clients wanted to expand the number of outlets and we were approached to do their branch in Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya. The general concept was already there, with the design DNA being “Approachable Luxe” which we adapted.
