Located in Ipoh, on Jalan Teh Lean Swee, Taman Ipoh, the client originally wanted to build conventional 2-storey landed shop lot units on the 3.79 acre lot, which were the standard product in a town like Ipoh then. We managed to convince the clients to consider a strata – shop lot concept, using the American Strip – Mall idea as the equivalent typology for their ease of understanding. We managed to squeeze 30 units of strata shops, with 62 carparks on the site, and in 2014, there was no equivalent concepts in Ipoh to speak about.
